Two of our Night Light Café volunteers, Elisabeth and Emilie, have chosen to retire. They have been with us for five and six years respectively, and we are deeply grateful for their huge efforts and the value they have added to Night Light Café.

We wish you all the best in the future!

"Being a part of Night Light Café for the six years I've been a volunteer has given me so much. The café has been a safe space - both to engage in as a volunteer and as a place to meet the Nigerian women.

The women in the night café are full of humor, dance and conversation. They carry both strength and vulnerability, bearing witness to lives shaped by harsh conditions and injustices.

The volunteer group is diverse, full of positive energy and includes people with different interests, education and backgrounds. It creates a safe community where you feel comfortable. It has been a great pleasure to be part of that community."

"I became a volunteer at Night Light Café because I wanted to help create a safe space for Nigerian women in prostitution.

It's been 5 meaningful years as a volunteer where I've loved getting to know the women who come to the Night Café. They are wonderful women who bring joy and give so much back to us volunteers. My wish has been to meet the women with care, love and respect, because they deserve to know how valuable they are.

It's also been great to be part of a dedicated volunteer team with a lot of wonderful people who are all passionate about the same cause - the fight against human trafficking."
