My name is Amina, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story. I am 32 years old. I came to the Sarina Project because I was desperate to leave behind a life of pain and shame. I was on the streets, doing sex work to feed my three children. It was a hard life, and I prayed every day for a way out. God answered my prayers through the Sarina Project.

Here, I am learning how to know God more intimately, and also learning skills that I never imagined I could have. I am getting an education and training to start a new life. The support and love I have received here have given me hope and a sense of purpose.

My dreams for the future are to start my own small business, so I can provide for my children and give them the education and opportunities I never had. I want to be a good mother and a role model for them, showing them that with faith and hard work, anything is possible. The Sarina Project, by God’s grace, is making this dream a reality.
