What if I can make a difference
Before I started volunteering in Night Light Café, I had heard good things about the work. One Sunday afternoon years ago, a friend and I went to a meeting where a former volunteer talked about the work and the upcoming introductory meeting. This motivated me to get involved. Now I have been volunteering in the night café for some years.
As a volunteer, I am driven by the thought, faith and hope in that I can somehow make even a minimal difference with my small doings in a big world. What if I can make a difference for the vulnerable women coming to Denmark in their faith and hope for something better. And what if I can be part of an even bigger perspective in the effort against human trafficking and be part of raising awareness on the subject. This makes it all worth it for me to participate.
