A global problem requires local action
Human trafficking is today the fastest growing crime worldwide and constitutes a serious violation of basic human rights.
EXIST is convinced that every human being is unique, irreplaceable and possesses unlimited value in themselves. Therefore, we work actively in Denmark and in Nigeria
to prevent and combat this form of crime.
Meeting, care and information
In Denmark, EXIST meets Nigerian women in prostitution with dignity and presence. Through Night Light Café, lectures, debates and collaboration with churches, universities and authorities, we create change close to home.

Rehabilitation, film and community
EXIST has been working in Nigeria since 2009 in collaboration with MeCAHT. From our first joint film "Europe in My Heart", to safehouses and education — we are present and creating lasting change.
Three areas of focus — one common fight
Information and prevention
We provide broad information about human trafficking and combat the ignorance that gives the perpetrators free rein.
Rehabilitation and reintegration
We support survivors with a safe environment, care and the tools they need for a new life.
Competence development and capacity building
We educate, empower and build capacity — among survivors, volunteers and partners.
Do you want to be part of the change?
You can contribute to the fight against human trafficking — as a volunteer, as a supporter, or by spreading the message.
