EXIST visited Krogerup College to focus on human trafficking
Recently, EXIST visited Krogerup College in Humlebæk, where we gave a presentation about human trafficking and our work to support people in vulnerable positions.
Before the presentation, we had the opportunity to have dinner with the students, which created a cozy setting for the rest of the evening. It means a lot to us to be able to meet with young people at eye level and create space for conversations about some of the difficult topics that human trafficking and social vulnerability can be.
In the presentation, we talked about, among other things:
- what human trafficking is
- how it also exists in Denmark
- What signs to look out for?
- and how you as a young person can help make a difference
Our volunteer Ida Ploug Pahus gave the presentation, while our daily manager, Karin Kjærgaard, spoke about EXIST's work and experiences from practice.
We are extremely grateful for the opportunity from Krogerup High School and for all the committed students who participated, asked questions, and contributed to the conversation.
It gives hope to meet young people who want to get involved and help create change.
